There are many things I enjoy doing outside of work. I’m a bit of a photography nerd. I also love learning, travelling, and being outdoors. Looking back, I’ve realized how much these hobbies have shaped the way I approach creativity and problem solving.
Photography taught me to slow down and notice details. Working in the darkroom reminds me that process matters. Every test strip, every mistake, is part of getting closer to the result I’m after. Cooking has taught me how to follow structure, but also how to adapt when things go sideways. Snowboarding is a constant reminder that progress often looks like falling (and bruises) and getting back up. And climbing is where I’ve learned to think strategically. How to read a challenge, understand my limits, and still find a way to move forward.
These experiences have shaped how I think and design. Staying curious is one of the most valuable tools I have, and I try to bring that mindset into everything I do.
